Why people don't like to buy from Unificationist's companies

A question found on the internet:

Why do people care so much if you're a Unificationist or Moonie?

I'm a "Moonie." I am 14 and i'm surprised that so many people make such a big deal if you are a Moonie or not. if a product or company is owned by the Unification Church people say, "I dont wanna buy it. Anyone know a different company?" Who cares? And if you do why?

My answer

When money is earned by companies that openly are out for profit, people don't suspect much. Things are clearly in the open. Such a company just wants to make profit for themselves.

But when a Unificationist sets up a company some or much of the profit goes to Rev. Moon and the projects he has set up.

Now it is an entirely different matter. Business contacts, buyers of the products or services of that Unificationist company suspect that the money they bring in isn't just going to just one individual or company, but it is going to be used for a worldwide organization that they find very suspicious.

People instinctively know that you cannot build an ideal world by centering on money. With money you cannot make a better world.

The problem of Rev. Moon is that he believes that money is very important for building a better world.

Fact is: Money isn't going to do that. You can change people by giving them money, but another word for that is 'bribing,' Bribing will never make better people or change this world into somethng more ideal.

I have studied Moon and the Unificationists for about three decades. I believe that Moon originally had an important mission, but he failed miserably. Hope now is in those of his children and followers who understand this.
